About Leah
Leah is a Saint Louis, Missouri based vocalist and pianist that has great love for bringing beautiful music to weddings and events. It is her great joy to add to your special day by using the gifts that God has given her.
Leah’s musical background began when she was six years old when she started taking piano lessons. She continued to take weekly lessons until she was eighteen. During that time, Leah participated in multiple recitals and piano competitions such as the National Federation of Music Clubs and Keyboard Merit earning many awards. Leah continues to play and practice often and thinks of the piano as her “old faithful” and “first love.”
Leah’s musical interest wasn’t limited to piano, however. From a young age Leah participated in both her primary and high schools’ choirs and also auditioned and participated in the Saint Louis Children’s Symphony Choir. Leah continued to use her vocal talents during her college years as a cantor at both the local parish and Newman Center Masses. Leah has sang at many weddings, funerals, Masses and special events and delights at each new opportunity that comes her way.
Leah lives in Saint Louis, Missouri with her loving husband of a year and a half. They are parishioners at Assumption Parish (Mattese) and when they’re not spending time with each other or with family and friends, they’re cooking together or watching Food Network or The Office on Netflix.
Thank You
Firstly, Leah would like to thank God for blessing her with musical ability that helps her and others to pray, praise and glorify Him.
She would like to thank her parents for pushing her to stick with it when she wanted to quit. She thanks them for the endless lessons and rehearsals, taking her to competitions and always supporting her no matter what. The gifts she has would not be developed into what they are today if it was not for her parents’ sacrifices that give her the tools she needed to grow. From the bottom of her heart, thank you.
Leah would like to thank her wonderful piano teacher, Anita Rister, for the many lessons, laughs, and encouragement she brought her throughout the years. You made piano a joy for her and she cannot thank you enough.
And last–but certainly not least–she would like to thank her husband, Joe. Without his constant support, sacrifice, and love–Leah wouldn’t be the person she is today. She loves you so very much and is so proud of the person you are. Thank you, Joey.
